Digital campaign designed to debunk the myths around climate breakdown




Global Witness needed a series of films to address disinformation and misinformation, and tackle misleading jargon around climate change. The films would have various audiences, from high level decision makers to the general public, reflect their authoritative voice and drive awareness of corporate destruction
We designed the series, Climate Truths, as a series of animated films that would bring to life TGS-produced scripts that debunk the myths around climate breakdown, highlight injustice and show pathways to change. The films reflect Global Witness’ visual style, and where possible include experts from Global Witness.
The Climate Truths films each support change campaigns; “Who’s in the room?” supported Global Witness’ headline-grabbing investigation revealing that more than 500 fossil fuel lobbyists were attending the COP26 in Glasgow.
This series is evergreen content that continues to engage views across Global Witness's socials, educating on the misinformation that drives climate apathy.
